Steve Martin & The Steep Canyon Rangers will be performing at IBMA's 22nd International Bluegrass Music Awards.

The Awards Show, held at Nashville, Tennessee's historic Ryman Auditorium on September 29, 2011, will also feature performances from nominees Balsam Range, The Boxcars, Dailey & Vincent, The Grascals, The Gibson Brothers, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, Sierra Hull & Highway 111, along with Awards Show host, Sam Bush. More performers, as well as the lineup of presenters, will be announced in the coming weeks.

The IBMA Awards will be broadcast live on Sirius XM Satellite Radio (Bluegrass Junction, Channel 61).

Steve Martin & The Steep Canyon Rangers have been nominated for International Bluegrass Music Awards this year in the following categories:

  • - Entertainer of the Year
  • - Album of the Year (Rare Bird Alert)
  • - Instrumental Recorded Performance of the Year (β€œRare Bird Alert,” written by Martin)
